Lucky

So if you're like me, this title made you think of that old Britney Spears song (come on, I know all of you have listened to her at one time or another!). However, this post has nothing to do with Britney.

Moving along, I'm pretty lucky to have all of you fabulous ladies who are dedicated to checking my page out every so often. It's been far too long since I posted...and for that, I apologize. My life has been a bit ridiculous as of late and I sincerely have not had time to really use the internet, much less post.

On top of all that stuff, my tripod is broken and I haven't bought a replacement yet. That being said, there are no photo outfits at the end of this post (which I promise is coming soon!). How has everyone's weeks been? Peaceful, I hope! Planning to be back on track with outfit photos this weekend, so you'll see more of me soon.

Classy Junk

I'd like to start out by saying that this is without a doubt, my favorite shoot to date. This skirt has been the object of my affection (or, let's be honest....LUST!) for months. We stopped in Target last weekend and there just happened to be one of these beauties left on the sale rack, in my size! And as if that wasn't enough, I spotted this denim jacket on clearance as well. Talk about a great day for shopping!

I've been flirting with the idea of shooting here for a couple of weeks now, because every time I drive by I think "that would photograph so well in black & white". Truthfully, it's in the parking lot of my apartment complex where people dump their crap (obviously). Somewhat tacky, but it looks kinda cool, right?

Field of Dreams

Disclaimer-
So I admit, I've never actually seen the movie "Field of Dreams", but the title was just too perfect to NOT use it, so there you are!

This weekend my boyfriend and I celebrated our month-a-versary (anniversary, for every month). Saturday was the 1 year & 5 month marker, so he cooked me dinner and we stayed in watching movies. I thrifted this top this weekend and it's already one of my favorites! While shooting, we happened to spot this little G.I. Joe guy lying on one of the bleachers. Nothing like a free toy to raise ones' spirits.

My schedule is gradually getting more busy, but I'm trying to keep up with this blog, so keep your fingers crossed. Have a splendid week, my lovelies!

It's so good to be back! I was unable to post for the past couple of days because for some reason, the new Blogspot editor was all screwed up. Thankfully, it's all good now. So, I recently won a giveaway through Megan's wonderful blog, The Discerning Fashionista and let me just say I adore this clutch! I found out on Friday that I was cast in our homecoming musical, (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum) and I'm incredibly excited to start rehearsing. It's only Tuesday but I'm already looking forward to the weekend, how about you all? Have a lovely week!

Here's the typical blogger apology for not really posting like I should.  Basically the weather here is the equivalent to what I imagine it would be in hell.  Getting dressed every day is a chore, because I only end up miserable and sweaty.  Hope everyone is having a great week so far, and get happy 'cause it's almost the weekend!
